O objectivo deste estudo é propor uma reflexão acerca da relação entre o ciceronianismo e as referências a Cícero, no Livro V da Poética de Júlio César Escalígero. Cícero é eleito como modelo ético, que visa superar o próprio imperador César Augusto.
The purpose of this study is to propose a reflection about the relation between the literary movement known as Ciceronianism and the references to Cicero on the Book V of Scaliger’s Poetics. Cicero is elected as an ethical model, which aims to overcome the Roman emperor Augustus Caesar.
