A obra que agora se publica corresponde, no essencial – ainda que com pontuais alterações –, à tese apresentada à Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, no contexto do Mestrado Orientado para a Investigação. Pretende-se, com a presente, dar um contributo para a discussão e reflexão sobre alguns dos problemas que gravitam em torno da figura das ações preferenciais sem direito de voto. Esta investigação foi distinguida com Prémio José Luís Sapateiro (ex-aequo, 2019), pela CMVM.
The work that is now being published corresponds, in essence – albeit with occasional changes – to the thesis presented to the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal, in the context of the Research-Oriented Master's Degree. The aim of this work is to contribute to the discussion and reflection on some of the problems that revolve around the figure of non-voting preferred shares. This research was awarded the José Luís Sapateiro Award (ex-aequo, 2019) by the CMVM.
