Revitimização, perda de recursos e sintomatologia pós-stress traumático nas mulheres vitímas de violência conjugal

| dc.description.abstract | A violência conjugal é um fenómeno transversal a todas as classes sociais e apresenta repercussões negativas na saúde mental das vítimas. Este estudo caracteriza a prevalência, cronicidade e severidade dos diferentes tipos de abuso, assim como avalia a associação entre as variáveis e verificar se há diferenças entre o grupo de mulheres com e sem sintomatologia de PPST. A amostra é constituída por 65 vítimas de violência conjugal que preencheram os seguintes instrumentos: Questionário Sociodemográfico; Questionário de Conservação de Recursos; Escala de Auto Relato de Sintomatologia de PPST; Escalas Táticas de Conflitos Revisadas e Questionário de Trauma Infantil. Os resultados obtidos indicam que as mulheres que apresentam sintomatologia de PPST apresentam maior prevalência de coerção sexual, e maior ocorrência de abuso sexual infantil. Constatou-se que quanto maior a frequência da agressão psicológica maior a perda de recursos de tempo e condições domésticas, assim como quanto maior a frequência do abuso físico, maior a perda de recursos sociais e de tempo. Verificou-se uma associação positiva entre a sintomatologia de PPST e a coerção sexual severa; e entre a sintomatologia de PPST a cronicidade da agressão psicologia, abuso físico e coerção sexual. | dc.description.abstract | Intimate partner violence is a cross phenomenon to all social classes and has a negative impact on mental health of the victims. This study characterizes the prevalence and chronicity and severity of different types of IPV, as well as evaluates the association between the variables and checks for differences between the group of women with and without symptoms of PTSD. The study sample consists of 65 victims of IPV who resorted to APAV, who met the following instruments: Sociodemographic Questionnaire; Conservation of Resources-Evaluation Questionnaire; PTSD Symptom Scale: self-reported; Revised Conflict Tactics Scales and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. The results indicate that women with PTSD symptomatology have a higher prevalence of sexual coercion, and increased incidents of child sexual abuse. It was found that the higher the frequency the greater the loss of psychological aggression domestic conditions of time and resources, and the higher the frequency of physical abuse, social greater the loss of resources and time. There was a positive association between symptoms of PTSD and severe sexual coercion; and between the symptoms of PTSD chronicity of psychology assault, physical abuse and sexual coercion.
