O presente trabalho tem como fim analisar o cargo do presidente da mesa, bem como os seus poderes e, a final, explorar alguns problemas associados à sua destituição, recorrendo também ao direito comparado.
The chairman of the general meeting is a figure that plays a central role in the Portuguese (public) limited liability companies. The present work aims to analyze the role of the chairman, such as its powers and, in the end, to explore some issues regarding its dismissal, whilst taking into account perspectives from comparative law.
