A obra de Herberto Helder tem contribuído para pensar sobre a relação entre a poesia e as outras artes, como a fotografia e o cinema. Este artigo explora uma via possível dessa relação a partir do poema “Retratíssimo ou narração de um homem depois de maio”, estendendo a leitura do texto herbertiano a uma obra fotográfica, o autorretrato “Eu poeta ”, de Fernando Lemos. Considerando que Helder apresenta um “Retratoblíquo” no qual inclui a expressão “Julgo ser eu”, preconizando a incerteza figurativa do poema, propõe-se uma ampliação da obliquidade do autorretrato poético para mostrar que a ambiguidade au- torretratística pode sugerir o cruzamento de diferentes objetos artísticos aos olhos do leitor.

This article explores a possible way of these connections based on the poem “Retratíssimo ou narração de um homem depois de maio”, extending the reading of Helder’s text to a photographic work, the self-portrait “Eu poeta ” by Fernando Lemos. Considering that Helder presents a “Retratoblíquo” in which he includes the expression “Julgo ser eu”, advocating the figurative uncertainty of the poem, this paper proposes an amplification of the obliquity of the poetic self-portrait to show that the self-portraying ambiguity may suggest the crossing of different artistic objects in the eyes of the reader.
