A presente investigação é um estudo de caso realizado à consultora de Seleção e
Recrutamento - Michael Page - que se propõe compreender se, de fato, a Cultura e os
Valores de uma organização reforçam os níveis de comprometimento dos seus
colaboradores.
Uma organização é uma unidade social dominante nas sociedades complexas, sendo
definida e representada pelo seu comportamento organizacional e a sua cultura. A origem
do sucesso organizacional tem vindo a ganhar importância e vários são os estudos que
tentam dar respostas às exigências do mundo profissional. Os estudos empíricos salientam
a correlação entre o desempenho e a determinados fatores como a identidade e a cultura.
Dado que toda a organização possui a sua própria cultura é importante perceber de que
forma esta influência o comportamento dos seus colaboradores e de que forma esta pode
influenciar o nível do comprometimento dentro da organização.
Os resultados obtidos permitiram verificar, como previsto, que os Valores Culturais
Organizacionais são reconhecidos pelos colaboradores da empresa objeto de estudo e os
colaboradores da empresa reconhecem que os Valores Culturais transmitidos potenciam
um maior Comprometimento entre os próprios colaboradores e a organização.
The present study is a case study carried out to the Recruitment and Selection consultant Michal Page - which proposes to understand if, in fact, the Culture and Values of an organization reinforce the commitment level of its employees. An organization is the dominate social unit in the complex societies defined and represented by its organizational behavior and culture. The origin of the organizational success is gaining importance and several researches are trying to respond to the demands of the professional world. Empirical studies emphasize the correlation between the performance and specifics factors as the identity and culture. Since every organization has its own culture, is important to understand how this can influence the employee behavior and the commitment level within the organization. As expected, the results allowed to verify that the organizational cultural values are recognized by the collaborators of the company being studied and the company's employees recognize that the cultural values transmitted increase commitment between the employees and the company.
