| dc.description.abstract | No nosso tempo, a missão da Igreja voltou a tornar-se um tema central, não só na Teologia, mas também na vida Pastoral da Igreja. A missão é a atividade primordial da Igreja e o fundamento que a constitui. Assim sendo, perguntarmo-nos sobre as diversas formas pelas quais a missão se dá no povo de Deus é fazer jus ao mandato missionário de Jesus, mas é sobretudo questionar a fidelidade ao mesmo. Desde o Concílio Vaticano II esta insistência sobre a temática da missão tem vindo a ser aprofundada e valorizada pelo magistério da Igreja. É precisamente pelo aflorar deste interesse da Igreja que todos os cristãos devem dar razões do seu contributo para a missão da Igreja, mais ainda aqueles que fazem da atividade missionária forma de vida, ou seja, consagração. A Missão Popular Vicentina sobre a qual se reflete neste trabalho é uma pequena parte, mas significativa, de toda a extraordinária atividade missionária da Igreja, e que ao longo da história ajudou na santificação de muitos. É precisamente porque conhecemos o seu contributo que queremos aprofundá-la e saber mais sobre a sua origem e sobre os seus fundamentos e sermos capazes de, com um olhar crítico e imparcial, lançar algumas perspetivas para uma reflexão de futuro. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In our time, the mission of the Church has once again become a central theme, not only in Theology but also in the Pastoral life of the Church. Mission is the prime activity of the Church and the foundation that constitutes it. Thus, asking ourselves about the several ways through which the mission is accomplished in God’s people is to live up Jesus' missionary mandate, but it is mainly to question fidelity to it. Since the Second Vatican Council this persistence on the theme of the mission has been developed and valued by the Magisterium of the Church. It is precisely because of the interest of the Church that all Christians should justify their contribution to the Church’s mission, even more those who make missionary activity a way of life, consecration. The Vincentian Popular Mission reflected in this work is a small but significant part of the Church's extraordinary missionary activity, which throughout the history has sanctificated many people. It is precisely because we know its contribution that we want to go into and to know more about its origin and its foundations and to be able, with a critical and unbiased look, to expose some perspectives for a future’s reflection. | pt_PT |
