Abstract(s)
Predictably, the use of tools equipped with Artificial Intelligence by directors will increase exponentially in the upcoming years. In this dissertation, we propose to make a test of resistance to the current regime of accountability/liability of directors, in order to understand if it is prepared for a management aided by robots equipped with artificial intelligence. We seek to understand whether the current regime, where fault plays a leading role, is adequate and fair, considering that we are approaching a reality in which auxiliary robots are equipped with self-learning mechanisms. In short, in addition to testing the ability of our system to receive robots equipped with AI, we seek to understand whether the current regime of responsibility of directors encourages innovation and avant-garde management and what are the consequences at a strategic level that the use of artificial intelligence can bring to the Portuguese business structure.
