Abstract(s)
A Jordânia e a Síria enfrentam sérios problemas relacionados com os recursos hídricos disponíveis, as alterações climáticas e a qualidade ambiental. Estes problemas exigem abordagens inovadoras de engenharia que tenham em consideração a particularidade das situações locais em que os projetos devem ser implementados. O projeto EGREEN (573927- EPP-1-2016-1-JO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) visa assegurar que as universidades na Jordânia e na Síria possam oferecer uma educação de alta qualidade e compatível com os padrões europeus atendendo às necessidades do mercado da emergente sociedade do conhecimento, fortalecendo a área ambiental recorrendo ao ensino a distância. Além disso, o EGREEN pretende introduzir o conceito de alterações climáticas para formar líderes profissionais que possam atender às necessidades do mercado do país, bem como desenvolver e integrar nos programas de licenciatura uma componente laboratorial apropriada em tecnologias ambientais nas universidades da Jordânia e da Síria e alinhado com os requisitos de Bolonha.
Jordan and Syria face serious problems related to available water resources, climate change and environmental quality. These problems require innovative engineering approaches that take into account the particularity of local situations in which projects are to be implemented. The EGREEN project (573927-EPP-1-2016-1-JO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) aims to ensure that universities in Jordan and Syria can deliver a high-quality education that is compatible with European standards in line with market needs of the emerging knowledge society, strengthening the environmental area using distance education. In addition, EGREEN intends to introduce the concept of climate change to train professional leaders who can meet the market needs of the country, as well as develop and integrate into the degree programs an appropriate laboratory component in environmental technologies at the universities of Jordan and Syria and aligned with the requirements of Bologna
