| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this thesis was to make a valuation of the company Altri, SGPS, S.A., a Portuguese company, which is listed on the Euronext Lisbon stock exchange and a member of its main index, the PSI-20, and operates in the pulp industry. To perform the company valuation, the different valuation methodologies were analysed, and taking into consideration the advantages and limitations of each. To this specific case the most appropriate methods were chosen. The company’s history, performance and future prospects were analysed, and assumptions were taken which gave us a final price to the company shares, that was compared with an Investment Banking analysis. | por |
