dc.description.abstract | This workshop aims to present a socially relevant and scientifically sound methodology for a life projects intervention with young adults (18-30 years) in situations of professional vulnerability, including migrants and refugees – the Live2Work Project. Among other resources (e.g., the theoretical manual, the course guide, the in-service training courses, the online audio-visual learning scenarios, and the Moodle courses and on-line learning platform), the project provides a toolbox composed by innovative and easy-to-use pedagogical resources. Its major goals are to contribute to the development of healthy and satisfying life/career trajectories by expanding the access of individuals to educational, training and professional paths, in their new countries. The toolbox was developed considering a three-dimensional scheme that includes the personal, contextual and temporal dimensions, as well as a change dimension based on transition skills training. Some activities that integrate the toolbox, in particular those related to the clarification of self-concept and development of self-esteem, will be experimented through “Values by Image Cards” and “Character Strength Cards” (Solitaire). This workshop is aimed at end-users who work directly with this target audience, namely trainers, mentors and advisers (max. 12). | pt_PT |
