A presente dissertação é o resultado do estudo técnico e material de um conjunto de pinturas
a óleo sobre tela da autoria da artista Aurélia de Souza (1866-1922). O estudo serviu vários
propósitos que incluem, por um lado o conhecimento dos materiais empregues pela pintora e
a forma como os utiliza e por outro, a sua relação com a conservação das obras.
