| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação tem como objectivo principal discutir as motivações das shahidas palestinianas. Neste sentido, faz-se uma contextualização histórica das origens do conflito entre Israel e Palestina, bem como do papel da mulher no mudo islâmico. Do mesmo modo, faz-se uma apresentação histórica e uma discussão acerca do Shahada1 no Islão e de sua utilização como forma de luta, especialmente entre as mulheres. Em seguida, mostra-se o que vem sendo dito sobre o Shahada feminino assim como sobre as shahidas palestinianas nos meios de comunicação e produções académicas ocidentais. Assim, a partir de uma pesquisa em campo feita com algumas famílias destas shahidas da Palestina, apresenta-se um contraponto, uma perspectiva que dá voz ao acto dessas mulheres e explicita a profunda reivindicação do povo palestiniano contida no acto do Shahada. Para efeito, utiliza-se a Teoria Sistémica de Bert Hellinger como hipótese de trabalho e ferramenta conceitual para analisar de que modo a situação do conflito na Palestina e o sofrimento vivido em consequência desta podem ser determinantes na motivação das shahidas. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this dissertation is to discuss the Palestinian shahidas' motivation. In this sense, it provides a historical contextualization of the conflict between Israel and Palestine and its origin, as well as an examination of the meaning of being a woman in the Islamic world. In a similar vein, it presents a historical discussion about the Shahadas' role in Islam and of its utilization as way of fighting, especially among women. Furthermore, it discusses what is being said about the Shahada practiced by woman, as well as the Palestinian shahidas in the occidental media and academic sphere. Through field research among the family-members of these shahidas from Palestine, it presents a counter-argument, as well as a perspective that gives a voice to the act of those women and shows the deep claim of the Palestinian people manifested in the act of Shahada. Seeking out this objective, it uses Bert Hellinger´s Systemic Theory as conceptual tool for analyzing in which way the situation of Palestinian conflict and the sorrow experienced as consequence may be determining in the motivation of the shahidas | |
