| dc.description.abstract | A “Escola para Todos” da atualidade organiza-se a partir de padrões que instituem a uniformidade, abstraindo-se das particularidades individuais. A criação de Cursos que direcionem os jovens para um ensino diferenciado, de cariz vocacional e voltado para o ensino profissional e/ou profissionalizante, como é o caso dos Cursos de Educação e Formação (CEF) parece, à partida, responder às necessidades daqueles a quem a escola não tem conseguido acolher e que têm contribuído para o aumento das taxas de insucesso e abandono escolares em Portugal. Apesar de se registar um número crescente de alunos no ingresso aos CEF e de ser reconhecida a sua eficácia, é comummente aceite o estigma a que os cursos se associam. Partindo da legislação vigente, daremos conta dos principais aspetos que norteiam a criação destes cursos, bem como os que subjazem à sua organização e funcionamento. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The “School for All” of today is organized by standards that confer uniformity, disregarding individual particularities. The emergence of Courses that orientate young people to a differentiated learning, of vocational nature aiming professional teaching, as Educational and Training Courses (CEF), seems the answer for the needs of those whose school has not been able to accommodate and have, therefore, been contributing to the rising of school failure and school dropout rates, in Portugal. Nevertheless and in spite of the growing number of students in these denominated CEF and its recognized effectiveness, it is generally accepted the presence of a stigma associated with this kind of Courses. Based on the current legislation, we will focus on the main aspects that regulate the creation of these courses, as well as those underlying its organization and operation. | pt_PT |
