Abstract(s)
A literatura tem apontado para um impacto das características do terapeuta em diferentes dimensões, como a eficácia na intervenção clínica, a aliança terapêutica e nas atitudes face à monitotização psicoterapêutica (Wampold & Brown, 2005; Lutz, De Jong, & Rubel 2015). Nesse sentido, o presente estudo exploratório teve como objetivo geral explorar características socio-profissionais do terapeuta que podem estar associadas quer às atitudes face à monitorização psicoterapêutica, quer ao uso de novas tecnologias na monitorização psicoterapêutica.
A amostra deste estudo é constituída por 51 terapeutas que fazem atendimento de crianças e adolescentes. Através de uma plataforma online, foi recolhida informação sociodemográfica, características profissionais, práticas de avaliação psicológica, atitudes face à monitorização psicoterapêutica e atitudes face ao uso de novas tecnologias em monitorização psicoterapêutica de todos os participantes.
Os principais resultados obtidos neste estudo demonstraram diferenças ao nível das atitudes face à monitorização e ao nível das atitudes face ao uso de novas tecnologias, consoante características sociodemográficas, nomeadamente o género e o estado civil. No que concerne às características profissionais, os resultados obtidos demonstram que existem também diferenças ao nível do modelo teórico de referência, do contexto de trabalho e da formação específica em psicoterapia. A satisfação profissional surge também como estando associada às atitudes face à monitorização psicoterapêutica e face ao uso de novas tecnologias em monitorização psicoterapêutica.
Literature have been pointing towards an impact from the characteristics of the therapist in differente fields, such as the efficiency in clinic intervention, the therapeutic partnership and the attitudes towards Routine outcome monitoring (Wampold & Brown, 2005; Lutz, De Jong, & Rubel 2015). Seen in these terms, the present exploratory survey had, as a main purpose, the distinction of which main social and professional characteristics of the therapist may be associated to the attitudes towards the Routine outcome monitoring processes and the use of new technologies in psychotherapeutic monitoring. This survey’s data is composed by 51 therapists which handle the care of teenagers and children. Through an online platform, an amount of information related to socio demography, professional characteristics, assessment methods and practice, attitudes towards routine outcome monitoring and towards the use of new technologies, was collected. The main results achieved in this survey showed the main differences in what concerns the attitudes towards routine outcome monitoring and the attitudes towards the use of new technologies according to socio-demographic characteristics, namely the gender and the marital status. Insofar as the professional characteristics is concerned, the results achieved, show that also exist differences in the theorical explicative of reference, the workplace and the specific psychotherapeutic qualification. According to the survey, the professional satisfaction is also related to the attitudes towards the routine outcome monitoring and towards the use of new technologies in psychotherapeutic monitoring.
