Nos últimos anos, o setor bancário tem assistido a uma transformação profunda impulsionada pela entrada das Fintechs no mercado português, start-ups tecnológicas que oferecem soluções financeiras digitais inovadoras, rápidas e centradas no cliente. Estas empresas têm vindo a conquistar fatias significativas de mercado ao oferecerem serviços mais ágeis, com melhor experiência digital e frequentemente com menores custos. Neste sentido, pretendo analisar como os bancos tradicionais devem fazer frente a estas entradas disruptivas no setor bancário para se manterem sustentáveis e relevantes. Para isso estudo a cultura e estrutura da empresa, modelo de negócio e proposta de valor, perceção e experiência do cliente.
In recent years, the banking sector has undergone a profound transformation driven by the entry of Fintechs into the Portuguese market – technology start-ups that offer innovative, fast, and customer-centric digital financial solutions. These companies have been capturing significant market share by providing more agile services, with better digital experiences and often at lower costs. In this context, I intend to analyse how traditional banks should respond to these disruptive entrants in the banking sector in order to remain sustainable and relevant. To this end, I study the company’s culture and structure, business model and value proposition, as well as customer perception and experience.
