Iniciamos o estudo do Prólogo do Evangelho de João (Jo 1, 1-18) com algumas aproximações ao contexto amplo do quarto Evangelho: o autor, a data e o lugar da composição, as fontes que lhe deram origem, a comunidade, a linguagem e as suas características. De seguida, fazemos uma aproximação ao texto em estudo e às suas características: o texto e a sua tradução, a delimitação textual, a análise morfossintática de palavras que consideramos de suma importância para o capítulo seguinte, e ainda a intertextualidade do Prólogo com a Sagrada Escritura, em geral, e dele com o Evangelho e as Cartas, em particular. Em terceiro e último lugar, fazemos uma leitura exegético-teológica do texto, destacando a sua relevância teológica.
We begin the study of the Prologue of the Gospel of John (John 1, 1-18) with some approaches to the broad context of the fourth Gospel: the author, the date and place of composition, the sources that gave rise to it, the community, the language and its characteristics. Next, we approach the text under study and its characteristics: the text and its translation, the textual delimitation, the morphosyntactic analysis of words that we consider to be of utmost importance for the following chapter, and also the intertextuality of the Prologue with the Sacred Scripture, in general, and his with the Gospel and the Letters, in particular. Thirdly and finally, we make an exegetical-theological reading of the text, highlighting its theological relevance.
