Abstract(s)
O presente relatório é referente à atividade clínica realizada na Clínica Universitária do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde de Viseu (ICS) da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, no 5º Ano do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Dentária, durante o ano letivo 2015/2016.
As situações expostas descrevem, por área disciplinar, todo o processo de aprendizagem envolvido no atendimento de cada paciente, os procedimentos efetuados nas diferentes variantes de alterações clínicas e os conhecimentos adquiridos. Especificamente, o que se pretende é expor o registo do desempenho do binómio 11 ao longo do ano letivo pela descrição e análise por área disciplinar bem como uma breve descrição da amostra dos pacientes observados. Os resultados obtidos são apresentados em gráficos e/ou tabelas com dados registados.
Como casos clínicos diferenciados, foram selecionadas duas grandes restaurações realizadas na área disciplinar de Dentisteria Operatória. O primeiro caso clínico é referente a uma restauração a amálgama recorrendo a matriz individual em aro de cobre; no segundo caso clínico, utilizou-se um espigão intraradicular e, o terceiro caso clínico é referente a uma ponte de três elementos realizada na área disciplinar de Prostodontia Fixa. Todos os tratamentos realizados são uma prática frequente nas consultas da Clínica Universitária da UCP de Viseu.
This report refers to the clinical activity carried out at the University Clinic of Sciences Institute of Viseu Health (ICS) of the Portuguese Catholic University in the 5th year of the MSc in Dental Medicine, during the school year 2015/2016. Exposed situations describe, by subject, the whole learning process involved in the care of each patient, the procedures performed in the different variants of the clinic and acquired knowledge. The aim is to expose the performance of the group number 11 throughout the year by describing and analysing each subject and as well a brief description of the sample of patients observed. The results obtained are presented in graphs or tables with the data registered. The clinical cases selected to be presented are two major restorations in the subject of Dentistry. The first clinical case reports an amalgam restoration using a copper ring as individual matrix; in the second clinical case, it was used a post and the third clinical case refers to a bridge of three elements held in the area Prosthodontics. All these treatments are a common practice in the University Clinic in Viseu .
