| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo aborda o realojamento da comunidade cigana (que residia no acampamento da Barragem de Bagaúste) no Bairro das Alagoas (Peso da Régua), e, tem como objetivo compreender o processo de realojamento a partir das suas vivências e perceções, particularmente, nas seguintes dimensões: 1) na transição entre o acampamento e o Bairro Social, 2) no acolhimento e adaptação ao Bairro, 3) e no acompanhamento técnico (nomeadamente de assistentes sociais) no processo de realojamento. Este estudo resultou de uma abordagem qualitativa de natureza exploratória, onde foram entrevistados vinte indivíduos da comunidade cigana realojada. Os resultados mostram, entre outros aspetos, que: 1) há diferentes sentimentos face ao acolhimento e integração no bairro, 2) há um elevado nível de satisfação face às novas condições habitacionais, 3) há reconhecimento da importância do acompanhamento técnico no processo de realojamento. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to examine the rehousing of the gypsy community (who resided in the Barragem de Bagaúste camp) in Bairro das Alagoas (Peso da Régua), and to understand their experiences and perceptions, particularly, in following dimensions: 1) in the transition between the camp and the Social Housing Neighborhood, 2) the reception and adaptation to the Social Housing Neighborhood, 3) and the technical support (namely of social workers) in the rehousing process. This qualitative exploratory study interviewed 20 participants from the gipsy community rehoused. Findings showed, among other aspects, different feelings towards the welcoming and integration in the Social Housing Neighborhood, a high level of satisfaction in the face of new housing conditions and a recognition of the importance of technical support in the rehousing process. | pt_PT |
