Abstract(s)
Este relatório explanou as aprendizagens efetuadas no decorrer dos estágios realizados na unidade curricular de “Estágio Final e Relatório”, tendo por base todas as experiências anteriores quer em contexto do Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialidade em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica da Universidade Católica Portuguesa assim como a experiência profissional já detida. Mostrou também as competências comuns e especificas do enfermeiro especialista adquiridas no percurso desta unidade curricular nomeadamente no cuidado ao doente crítico. Nesta unidade curricular realizei estágio num serviço de medicina intensiva e no Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica, nomeadamente numa ambulância de Suporte Imediato de Vida e numa Viatura Médica de Emergência e Reanimação. Ambos os estágios decorreram em instituições de saúde no distrito do Porto. Neste relatório final contextualizei os locais de prática clínica e demonstrei toda a minha aprendizagem reflexiva. Descrevi, também, o processo de desenvolvimento de competências do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica tendo por base os objetivos identificados no projeto de estágio final bem como respetivas atividades e indicadores de avaliação. No decurso desta prática clínica desenvolvi vários trabalhos tendo por base as necessidades formativas dos respetivos locais de estágio. Neste sentido, elaborei uma revisão da literatura sobre prevenção e tratamento de úlcera por pressão no doente crítico e uma revisão da literatura sobre papel do uso do penthrox na diminuição da dor de doentes no pré-hospitalar. Para a elaboração destes trabalhos bem como para o desenvolvimento das minhas capacidades tive por base a melhor e mais recente evidência científica. Todas as atividades e reflexões realizadas contribuíram para o meu desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional e para a melhoria da qualidade e segurança dos cuidados que presto no decurso da minha atividade profissional.
This report explained the lessons learned during the internships carried out in the curricular unit of “Final Stage and Report”, based on all previous experiences in the context of the master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and professional experience already done. It also showed the common and specific skills of the specialist nurse acquired during this course, namely in the care of critically ill patients. In this curricular unit I did an internship in an intensive care service and at the National Institute of Medical Emergency, namely in an ambulance for Immediate Life Support and in an Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle. Both internships took place in health institutions in the district of Porto. In this final report, I contextualized the clinical practice locations and demonstrated all my reflective learning. I also described the skills development process of the nurse specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing based on the objectives identified in the final stage project as well as the respective activities and evaluation indicators. During this clinical practice, I developed several works based on the training needs of the respective internship locations. In this sense, I prepared a literature review on the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in critically ill patients and a literature review on the role of the use of penthrox in reducing pain in prehospital patients. For the elaboration of these works as well as for the development of my capacities I was based on the best and most recent scientific evidence. All the activities and reflections carried out contributed to my personal and professional development and to the improvement of the quality and safety of the care that I provide during my professional activity.
