Introdução/enquadramento/objetivos: A Satisfação Laboral pode influenciar a qualidade de vida (no trabalho e global), pelo que o seu estudo poderá potenciar o desempenho das equipas de Saúde e Segurança Ocupacionais. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma Revisão Bibliográfica, iniciada através de uma pesquisa realizada em janeiro de 2022, nas bases de dados “CINALH plus with full text, Medline with full text, Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Methodology Register, Nursing and Allied Health Collection: comprehensive, MedicLatina e RCAAP”. Conteúdo: Ainda que existam muitas definições para este conceito, as diversas propostas não entram em conflito entre si e representam uma ideia geral semelhante. Na bibliografia encontra-se informação abundante sobre quais são os fatores que potenciam e atenuam a Satisfação Laboral, bem como quais as principais vantagens na sua existência e/ou desvantagens na situação oposta. Discussão e Conclusões: Existem diversos parâmetros que, se bem trabalhados, conseguirão potenciar a Satisfação Laboral dos funcionários, bem como proporcionar vantagens suficientemente incentivadoras, para que as instituições se motivem em nela apostar. A generalidade dos autores defende como mais relevantes neste contexto itens como a gestão das expetativas, remuneração/recompensas, tipo de liderança, vínculo laboral/segurança, justiça, respeito, autonomia, autoestima, compromisso, sensação de pertença, horários de trabalho, apoio técnico, acesso a formação, participação na tomada de decisão, possibilidade de progressão na carreira e existência de boas relações sociais entre colegas e com as chefias.
Introduction/framework/objectives: Job Satisfaction has the capacity to influence the quality of working life and even overall quality of life, so the study of this subjet will certainly enhance the performance of Occupational Health and Safety teams. Methodology: This is a Bibliographic Review, initiated through a search carried out in January 2022, in the databases “CINALH plus with full text, Medline with full text, Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Methodology Register, Nursing and Allied Health Collection: comprehensive, MedicLatina and RCAAP”. Contents: Although there are many definitions for this concept, the different proposals do not conflict with each other and represent a similar general idea. In the bibliography there is abundant information on what are the factors that enhance and mitigate Job Satisfaction, as well as the main advantages with the existence of Labor Satisfaction. Discussion and Conclusions: There are several parameters that, if well worked out, will be able to enhance the Job Satisfaction of employees, as well as provide advantages, certainly sufficiently encouraging for institutions to be motivated to invest in it. Most authors argue that the management of expectations, remuneration/rewards, type of leadership, employment relationship/security, justice, respect, autonomy, self-esteem, commitment, sense of belonging, working hours, technical support and access to workshops are the most relevant in this context; as training, participation in decision-making,
