O presente trabalho apresenta uma releitura da Unidade Letiva 1 do Programa de
Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica (EMRC) para o 6º ano do Ensino Básico intitulado
“A Pessoa Humana”.
Tem como base estrutural, além das obras inerentes à lecionação (Programa,
Manual e demais documentação do Secretariado Nacional para a Educação Cristã e do
Ministério da Educação), a obra do Professor Doutor Armindo dos Santos Vaz intitulado
“O Sentido Último da Vida Projectado nas Origens” onde é feita uma releitura dos
capítulos 2 e 3 do livro do Génesis.
A hermenêutica do texto bíblico usada nesta obra tem um forte cunho
antropológico e existencial que me pareceu muito adequado à implementação pedagógica
pretendida.
O Programa de EMRC propõe o aprofundamento da Pessoa Humana com toda a
pertinência, mas torna-se necessário perceber quais os traços principais da ‘Pessoa
Humana’ que se pretende aprofundar e apresentar aos alunos.
A obra do Prof. Armindo Vaz dá um notável contributo nesse sentido fazendo uma
nova interpretação da «história de Adão e Eva» de onde se podem extrair contributos
fundamentais para uma nova compreensão da Pessoa Humana numa maior fidelidade à
intensão do autor sagrado e viabilizando uma nova proposta de implementação
pedagógica para esta Unidade Letiva.
The current essay presents a reviewing of Unit 1 from the Catholic Moral and Religious Education (EMRC) Syllabus for the 6th grade of Basic School, labelled “Human Person”. Apart from the regular teaching material (Syllabus, Manual and other documents provided by the National Secretariat for Christian Education and the Ministry of Education), the essay is structurally based on a work by Professor Armindo dos Santos Vaz – “O Sentido Último da Vida Projectado nas Origens”, which offers a new reading of chapters 2 and 3 from Genesis. The biblical text hermeneutics used in that work have a strong anthropologic and existential imprint that I found quite appropriate to the desired pedagogic implementation. EMRC Syllabus recommends a holistic approach to the Human Person, but it is necessary to realise the main characteristics of the Human Person that have to be deepened and presented to the students. Prof. Armindo Vaz’s work gives a remarkable contribution in that sense, offering a new interpretation of “Adam and Eve’s story” that can provide essential inputs for the understanding of the Human Person in a better faithfulness to the sacred author’s will, opening the way to a new proposal for the pedagogic implementation of this teaching Unit.
