Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como propósito elucidar o que foi o percurso realizado para a obtenção do grau de mestre e enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, pelo Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, tendo sido a aquisição de competências especializadas na prestação de cuidados à pessoa e respetiva família, que experienciam o processo de doença nos seus diversos contextos, o palco para a obtenção do mesmo.
Neste relatório apresentarei reflexivamente as três experiências obtidas nos módulos que constituem a prática clínica: Serviço de Urgência Geral (SUG), Serviço de Medicina Intensiva – Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Médico-Cirúrgicos (SMI-UCIMC) e Unidade de Assistência Domiciliária (UAD) de diferentes hospitais centrais de Lisboa.
O desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional nestes campos implicou crescimento e maturação de competências individuais, implicou desfragmentar processos de saber anteriores e combater rotinas e formatações já concebidas durante a experiência profissional, o que por si só constituiu um desafio.
Além disso, em cada um deles procurei desenvolver atividades relacionadas com a adesão terapêutica e consequentemente, a cada vez mais evidente função do enfermeiro nesta temática; bem como a adoção e/ou melhoria de práticas seguras por parte dos enfermeiros, fatores grandemente potenciadores da qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem prestados diariamente aos clientes.
Para as concretizar direcionei a minha pesquisa primordial com a seguinte questão de partida “Quais as intervenções de enfermagem que potenciam a adesão terapêutica?” e realizei uma revisão sistemática da literatura posteriormente.
Neste percurso saliento, a necessidade de adaptação constante face a imprevistos surgidos, mas que foram potenciadores de criatividade e dinamicidade na procura de soluções que os satisfizessem. Possibilitou ainda a articulação de teoria com a prática sob inúmeras perspetivas, a reflexão crítica e o processo de tomada de decisão.
Em suma, este relatório inclui nele os diversos passos desta caminhada, detalhes dos projetos desenvolvidos, vivências refletidas e as competências que delas advieram bem como a vontade de continuar a implementar projetos que sejam resposta a problemas da prática de enfermagem e que contribuam para a melhoria dos cuidados de enfermagem prestados.
This report aims to clarify what was the route taken to the degree of master and nurse specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing, by the Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, being the acquisition of expertise in the care of the person and his family, experiencing the disease process in its various contexts , the stage for obtaining the same. This report will present the three reflexively experiences gained in the modules that constitute the clinical practice: Emergency Service, Intensive Care Unit and Palliative Home Care Unit of different central hospitals of Lisbon. The personal and professional development in these fields led to growth and maturation of individual skills, implied defragmentation of known previous processes and break with some routines already established during my professional experience, which in itself was a challenge. Besides, in which one of them I tried to develop activities related to therapeutic adherence and moreover, the increasingly importance of the nurse’s role of the nurse in this process; as well as the increase of safe practice by the nurses, factors of the quality of nursing care provided daily to the patients. To achieve that, I centered my primary research with the question "What nursing interventions improve medication adherence?" then I performed a literature systematic review. In this course I note the need to constantly adapt face to the unforeseen, but this events were enhancers of creativity and dynamism, very useful tools in the search for the best solutions. It also made possible the articulation between the theory and daily practice in many perspetives, critical reflection and the process of choosing. To sum up, this report includes the various steps of this journey, details of developed projects, reflected experiences and skills that have derived from them and the thrive to continue to implement projects that are the answer the nursing practice problems and contribute to the improvement of nursing care provided
