| dc.description.abstract | A temática da OPA internacional, atendendo à relevância das operações de aquisição internacional, constitui um tema de relevo. Neste estudo, iremos analisar as várias questões levantadas a propósito desta figura, desde as implicações práticas que decorrem da sua aplicação até à apreciação do regime jurídico vigente no seio da União Europeia, recorrendo para isso a alguns casos de OPAs transfronteiriças e internacionais já ocorridos em Portugal. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The International Takeovers represent one of the most important subjects of the market for corporate control, specially influenced by the growing cross-border acquisitions. This study will approach some of legal and economic controversies frequently discussed in this kind of operations and analyze the solutions adopted in the legislation on European takeover law, such as in the Thirteenth Directive of the European Union on Takeover Regulation. Also, we will use some of real cases occurred in Portugal as examples to show the important role of the international takeover bid in our market. | pt_PT |
