Abstract(s)
A evolução do conceito de infância, das políticas sobre os seus direitos e dos
estudos interdisciplinares da criança favoreceu durante as últimas décadas o surgimento
de um novo quadro de pensamento teológico que coloca as crianças no centro da reflexão,
seguindo o exemplo de Jesus Cristo (Mt 18,2). O contributo de teólogos católicos e
protestantes permite fundamentar a dignidade e os direitos das crianças na perspetiva
cristã e descobrir novos aspetos do Mistério de Deus desde a ótica da criança.
No contexto escolar, o caso particular de crianças, jovens e famílias que vivem
situações de vulnerabilidade e de risco demanda novas respostas. Fruto do dialogo
interdisciplinar, a Educação, a Teologia e a Intervenção Psicossocial salientam o valor da
prevenção e do envolvimento dos professores na promoção e proteção dos direitos da
criança.
A partir deste quadro teórico, é oferecido um contributo para o desenvolvimento
da Unidade Letiva “A pessoa humana”, do programa de Educação Moral e Religiosa
Católica. O impacto da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada numa turma de alunos de 6º ano
do Ensino Básico em Braga trouxe resultados positivos especialmente nos processos de
ensino-aprendizagem relacionados com a dignidade do ser humano e dos direitos da
criança junto dos alunos.
The evolution of the concept of childhood, children’s rights in policies and interdisciplinary child studies has supported during the last decades the emergence of a new theological framework that places children in the middle of the reflection, following the example of Jesus Christ (Matt 18:2). The contribution of Catholic and Protestant theologians allows to found the dignity and the children’s rights from a Christian perspective and to discover new insight of the Mystery of God from the point of view of the child. In the school context, the particular case of children, young people and families living at risk and vulnerability require new answers. As a result of an interdisciplinary dialogue, Education, Theology and Psychosocial Intervention emphasize the value of prevention and the involvement of teachers in the promotion and protection of children's rights. From this theoretical framework, it is offered a contribution for the development of the Teaching Unit Plan "The human being" of the Curriculum Guide of Moral and Religious Catholic Education. The impact of the Supervised Teaching Practice in a group of 6th grade students in Braga has brought positive results for the students especially in those teaching-learning processes related to the dignity of the human being and the children’s rights.
