Abstract(s)
Significado do trabalho, Insegurança laboral e Burnout.
Objective: The present study aims to identify and evaluate the psychosocial risk factors to which the employees of a textile car company are exposed. At the same time, research seeks to understand if there are gender differences in perceptions in relation to exposure to these risks. Method: The present investigation is quantitative on the basis of a case study, with a sample of 187 workers from a company in the northern part of Portugal. In order to be able to measure the variables of the study, two instruments of evaluation were used: Sociodemographic Questionnaire and the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ). Conclusions: Although the results obtained do not reveal concerning values in any of the subscales, the number of subscales that present an intermediate risk is quite high, highlighting the subscales of Work rhythm, Work Influence and labor insecurity that present values very close to the situation of risk to health. Regarding gender differences, it was possible to confirm that there are significant gender differences in four variables: Work influence, Work meaning, Job insecurity and Burnout.
