| dc.description.abstract | Os estudos da biologia molecular e da histoquímica, trouxeram novos conhecimentos da fisiopatologia das feridas crónicas. Também a microbiologia, ao mostrar a existência de biofilmes no leito das feridas crónicas, conduziu a novas orientações terapêuticas. Efectivamente, o tratamento das feridas crónicas deve ser diferente daquele que é realizado para as feridas agudas. A European Wound Manegement Association (EWMA), tornou consensual a adopção do esquema TIME para o tratamento local das feridas crónicas. O tratamento do doente com ferida crónica tem de ser orientado após o conhecimento global do doente, da etiologia da ferida e da avaliação desta, para que o tratamento sistémico e local seja correctamente orientado. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The recent studies on molecular biology and histochemistry bring new concepts about chronic wounds pathophysiology, and also the microbiology about the existence of the chronic wounds bed biofilmes. These new wound healing advances carry new concepts about therapeutic assessment. Really, the orientation of the chronic wounds management and treatment must be different of the acute wounds assessment and therapy. The European Wound Management Association (EWMA) consensual scheme TIME brings new ways to chronic wounds local management. The chronic wounds management must be oriented after global assessment of the patient, the wound aetiology and chronic wound assessment. Only with these parameters we can have a correct systemic and local wound management. | pt_PT |
