Introdução: Os registos reflexivos estruturados são vantajosos na formação de futuros enfer- meiros. Permite ao estudante segmentar o evento de uma forma distanciada e fomentam o desenvolvimento de competências. Objetivo: Refletir profundamente sobre um episódio relevante que permita a compreensão do acontecimento e o desenvolvimento de competências pessoais e profissionais. Materiais e Métodos: Foi utilizado o Ciclo Reflexivo de Gibbs enquanto modelo estruturado em seis etapas, para a estruturação dos registos sobre uma situação de não adesão ao regime medicamentoso num adolescente. Conclusões: A reflexão permitiu identificar competências que necessitam de aperfeiçoamento, favorecendo o crescimento gradual, aprendizagem e identificação de desafios. Favoreceu ainda a análise do que poderia ter sido feito de forma diferente e olhar para os desafios como oportunidades para aprender.
Introduction: Structured reflective records are advantageous in the training of future nurses. They allow the student to segment the event from a distance and foster the development of skills. Objective: To reflect in depth on a relevant episode, enabling an understanding of the event and the development of personal and professional skills. Materials and Methods: Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle was used as a six-stage model to structure the records on a situation of non- -adherence to a medication regime in an adolescent. Conclusions: Reflection made it possible to identify skills that needed improvement, fostering gradual growth, learning and identifying challenges. It also helped to analyze what could have been done differently and to see challenges as opportunities to learn.
