| dc.description.abstract | O breve relato bíblico de Génesis 6:1-4, pouco conhecido, causa dificuldades a uma interpretação descontextualizada. Aqui enquadramo-lo no seu contexto próprio, histórico, literário, cultural e religioso, que cobre toda a história primordial de Gn 1-11. A análise literária compreende-o sem estranheza ao lê-lo à luz do seu fundo mítico no antigo Próximo Oriente – mais reconhecível na mitologia grega – e conclui que está composto com essa linguagem mítica, no mesmo contexto das origens, com os mesmos motivos temáticos, com estrutura e personagens análogas… É um fragmento mítico ou um pequeno mito de origem completo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The short biblical narrative in Gn 6:1-4, not particularly known, brings confusion to decontextualized interpretations. In this essay we analyse it within its proper historical, literary, cultural and religious context, covering all the primordial history of Gn 1-11. Literary analysis has not found difficulties when it interprets the passage considering its mythical background from the Ancient Near East – more recognizable in Greek Mythology – and concludes that the composition is embedded with that mythical language, using the same context of origins, the same themes, structures and analogous characters. It appears to be a small mythical fragment or a small origin myth of its own. | pt_PT |
