Cuidar nos Diferentes Contextos da Prática Clínica: Pessoa em Situação
Crítica”, é o presente relatório de estágio onde pretendo evidenciar o trabalho
desenvolvido na Unidade Curricular Estágio de Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica (Serviço
de Urgência, Cuidados Intensivos e Controlo de Infeção), com o intuito de adquirir e de
desenvolver as competências específicas do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem
Médico-cirúrgica. Tem como finalidade concluir o Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem
com Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, desenvolvido pela
Universidade Católica Portuguesa do Porto.
Com este relatório pretendo expor o trabalho desenvolvido na referida Unidade
Curricular; descrever as competências de enfermagem adquiridas e desenvolvidas na
assistência à pessoa em situação crítica; revelar as linhas que orientaram o meu
desempenho para uma prática sustentada; refletir sobre as ações realizadas e as suas
implicações éticas e sociais para um cuidar de excelência. Utilizei a metodologia
descritiva, com recurso aos parâmetros fornecidos pela orientadora a ter em conta na sua
elaboração, o projeto de estágio, a pesquisa bibliográfica e a análise reflexiva do
percurso desenvolvido ao longo do meu estágio através dos portefólios dos módulos de
estágio, atendendo a duas vertentes: as minhas áreas de interesse e a melhoria contínua
na assistência integral à pessoa em situação crítica. Está organizado em três fases: a
introdução, onde contextualizei o trabalho realizado; o desenvolvimento, onde explanei
as competências adquiridas no estágio e a conclusão com uma reflexão do conteúdo
desenvolvido, propondo algumas sugestões ao nível da prática de cuidados, do ensino e
da investigação em enfermagem.
Nos três módulos de estágio, desenvolvi competências como futuro enfermeiro
especialista, no atendimento ao doente crítico em contexto de urgência/emergência,
cuidados intensivos e controlo de infeção. Ao longo destes, deixei várias reflexões sobre
aspetos da prática de enfermagem no âmbito da enfermagem avançada e elaborei vários
trabalhos necessários para uma prática de enfermagem de excelência.
Este relatório contribuiu para a reflexão das práticas diárias de enfermagem e
para potenciar mudanças de atitudes e comportamentos, com vista à excelência dos
cuidados prestados, bem como à satisfação das necessidades do doente.
Caring in Different Contexts of Practice: Person in Critical Situation," This stage report is where I want to highlight the work of the Curricular Unit Stage of Medical-Surgical Nursing (Emergency Department, Intensive Care and Infection Control) in search for acquisition and development of specific skills of specialist nurses in medical-surgical nursing. It has as purpose to complete the Master’s Degree in Nursing with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing, developed by the Universidade Católica do Porto. I intend to expose with this report the work developed in the refereed Curricular Unit; to describe the skills acquired and developed in nursing care to the person in critical condition, revealing the lines that guided my performance for a sustained practice, to reflect upon actions and their ethical and social implications for excellence in caring. I used the descriptive analysis, using the parameters to take into account in preparing the report provided by the advisor, the draft stage, the literature researched and reflective analysis developed over the course of my internship through the portfolios of modules stage, given twofold: my areas of interest and continuous improvement in comprehensive care to the person in critical condition. It is organized into three phases: introduction, where I’ve contextualized the work performed, the development where I’ve explained the skills acquired during the traineeship and the conclusion with a reflection of the content developed, proposing some suggestions in the practice of care, teaching and nursing investigation. In the three modules of training, I’ve developed skills as a future nurse specialist in the care of critically ill patients in the context of urgency / emergency, intensive care and infection control. I made several reflections on aspects of advanced nurse practice and worked out various work needed to practice excellence nursing. This report contributed to the reflection of daily practice of nursing and to leverage changes in attitudes and behaviors in order to excellence of care, as well as to meet the needs of the patient.
