Segundo o SICAD (2017) a cannabis é a substância mais consumida em Portugal.
O presente trabalho visou explorar o consumo de cannabis e perceber os motivos
preditores do mesmo tendo em conta motivos para consumir, personalidade, nível de
consumo e sintomatologia. Para isso foram recolhidos através de questionários compostos
por testes que avaliam a frequência do consumo, a sintomatologia, a personalidade e os
motivos do consumo. A amostra foi constituída por 200 participantes com idades
compreendidas entre os 16 e os 35 anos. Para proceder à análise dos dados estatísticos,
estes foram inseridos no programa Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Desta
forma foi possível perceber que o consumo de cannabis é superior no sexo masculino. Os
motivos mais frequentes percebidos foram para obtenção de prazer próprio, como
estratégia de coping, para expansão mental, por amabilidade, ideação paranóide e para
integração. Foi também possível compreender a importância de promover investigações
a este nível, assim como a importância de desenvolver atividades de prevenção do
consumo para as diversas faixas etárias.
According to SICAD (2017) cannabis is the most consumed substance in Portugal. The present work explores the use of cannabis to understand the predictive reasons, taking into account reasons for use, personality, level of use and symptomatology. It was all collected through questionnaires composed by tests that evaluate the frequency of consumption, symptomatology, the personality and the reasons for the consumption. The sample consisted of 200 participants aged between 16 and 35 years. To analyze the statistical data, they were entered into the program 'Statistical Package for Social Sciences' (SPSS). Thus it was possible to realize that the use of cannabis is higher in males. The most frequent reasons were self-pleasure, such as coping strategy, mental expansion, kindness, paranoid ideation and integration. It was also possible to understand the importance of promoting investigations at this level, as well as the importance of developing consumption prevention activities for the various age groups.
