While previous academic contributions focus on the colonial approach to an intrastate conflict and propose solutions to define it, this article interprets the impact of colonialism in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a post-colonial lens, deconstructing discourses of significant international actors after September 2023 with five categories as theoretical guides – “Settler Colonialism”, “Prejudice”, “Segregation”, “Restrictions to Freedom”, and “Violence”. The analysis points to the conclusion that, in the perspective of most international actors, Palestine is the oppressed party in the conflict.
