Abstract(s)
A liderança representa uma dimensão significativa nos contextos organizacionais, uma vez que é ela quem cria, desenvolve e perpetua a cultura de uma organização. Do mesmo modo, o impacto de uma liderança eficaz consegue contribuir positivamente para a boa gestão das tarefas e orientação das equipas, mas, essencialmente, molda a essência da organização e inspira os colaboradores a seguir um propósito maior. Estudar a liderança e a sua relação de influência com a cultura organizacional mostrase crucial, na medida em que permite compreender que variáveis contribuem para esta relação e que impactos podem existir na produtividade, motivação e bem-estar dos colaboradores. Assim, para dar mais robustez à investigação, decidiu-se recorrer a uma metodologia mista, onde o método qualitativo foi aplicado para a recolha de dados exploratórios através de uma análise documental para se identificar as principais dimensões da cultura organizacional e de uma entrevista exploratória para apurar o estilo de liderança da organização. Por outro lado, o método quantitativo para o levantamento dos dados primários através de um inquérito por questionário aos colaboradores da organização, para se perceber se a liderança da organização em estudo se reveste através do estilo de uma liderança transformacional e se as suas principais dimensões têm influência na cultura da empresa. Posto isto, como principais resultados da investigação, apurou-se que os colaboradores do Doutor Finanças reconhecem o estilo de liderança transformacional do seu líder e denotam a relação de influência positiva que esta apresenta com a cultura organizacional.
Leadership represents a significant dimension in organizational contexts, since it creates, develops and perpetuates an organization's culture. Likewise, the impact of effective leadership can contribute positively to the good management of tasks and team orientation, but essentially it shapes the essence of the organization and inspires employees to follow a greater purpose. Studying leadership and its influence on organizational culture is crucial, as it allows us to understand which variables contribute to this relationship and what impacts there may be on employee productivity, motivation and well-being. Therefore, in order to make the research more robust, it was decided to use a mixed methodology, where the qualitative method was applied to collect exploratory data through a document analysis to identify the main dimensions of organizational culture and an exploratory interview to ascertain the organization's leadership style. On the other hand, the quantitative method to collect primary data through a questionnaire survey of the organization's employees, in order to understand whether the leadership of the organization under study has a transformational leadership style and whether its main dimensions have an influence on the company's culture. That said, the main results of the research were that the employees of Doutor Finanças recognize their leader's transformational leadership style and denote the positive influence it has on organizational culture.
