O desenvolvimento de tecnologias como a Internet das Coisas (IoT), wearables e big data, além do aumento do uso de dispositivos móveis têm exigido um maior desempenho da Internet. No entanto, a conexão com a web não alcançou ainda todo o seu potencial, mas tende a ficar mais rápida para cobrir as novas necessidades que estão a surgir ao longo dos anos. A banda larga 5G estará no mercado nos próximos cinco anos, será mais estável e terá capacidade suficiente para cobrir as necessidades dos utilizadores móveis. Com a quinta geração da tecnologia sem fios será possível fazer o download de filmes completos em segundos, atingir a evolução da Internet das Coisas e criar cidades inteligentes e interconectadas.
The evolution of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), wearables and big data, plus the increase in the use of mobile devices have required greater performance of the internet.The web connection, however, has not yet reached its full potential, but it tends to get faster and faster to meet these new demands that have been emerging over the years.Broadband 5G will be on the market in the next three years, will be more stable and will have sufficient capacity to meet the needs of mobile users. With the fifth generation of wireless technology it will be possible to download full movies in a matter of seconds, achieve the evolution of the Internet of Things and create intelligent and interconnected cities.
