O presente relatório de atividade clínica tem como finalidade apresentar e descrever os atos clínicos realizados ao longo do 5º ano do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Dentária da Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Centro Regional das Beiras, nas diferentes áreas disciplinares. Este relatório engloba a atividade clínica desenvolvida durante o ano letivo, destacando igualmente alguns casos clínicos considerados mais relevantes e diferenciados pela sua complexidade e interesse clínico. Durante este último ano de formação académica, a componente prática assume um papel predominante, permitindo ao estudante consolidar e aplicar os conhecimentos teóricos e práticos adquiridos ao longo do curso. A integração em ambiente clínico proporciona o desenvolvimento da autonomia, da capacidade de raciocínio e da tomada de decisões, fundamentais para a elaboração de diagnósticos e planos de tratamento adequados às necessidades de cada paciente, nas várias áreas da Medicina Dentária. Para além disso, esta experiência na clínica dentária universitária contribuiu significativamente para o aperfeiçoamento das competências técnicas, científicas e interpessoais, essenciais para o futuro exercício profissional. Todos os dados recolhidos ao longo da atividade clínica foram organizados e analisados através da plataforma Microsoft Office Excel®, permitindo uma sistematização e avaliação detalhada da atividade clínica.
This clinical activity report aims to present and describe the clinical acts performed during the 5th year of the Integrated Master's Degree in Dental Medicine at the Catholic University of Portugal – Beira’s Regional Center, in the different disciplinary areas. This report encompasses the clinical activity developed during the academic year, also highlighting some clinical cases considered more relevant and differentiated by their complexity and clinical interest. During this final year of academic training, the practical component assumes a predominant role, allowing the student to consolidate and apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired throughout the course. Integration into a clinical environment provides the development of autonomy, reasoning ability, and decision making, which are fundamental for the elaboration of diagnoses and treatment plans appropriate to the needs of each patient, in the various areas of Dental Medicine. In addition, this experience in the university dental clinic contributed significantly to the improvement of technical, scientific, and interpersonal skills, essential for future professional practice. All data collected throughout the clinical activity was organized and analyzed using the Microsoft Office Excel® platform, allowing for a systematization <br/>and detailed evaluation of the clinical activity.
