| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo pretende colaborar num projecto de acompanhamento longitudinal que tem como objetivo compreender fatores que contribuem no desenvolvimento de crianças prematuras. Bebés prematuros correm maiores riscos tanto a nível biológico como a nível social/emocional, assim, a interação social e a qualidade do ambiente familiar é ainda mais importante na formação de um desenvolvimento positivo. O presente estudo tem como objetivo contribuir no conhecimento do ambiente familiar e sua relação com o perfil desenvolvimental de crianças que nasceram prematuramente. Participaram 17 crianças nascidas prematuramente num hospital no norte do país e respetivos pais. A avaliação realizou-se no terceiro ano de vida através do Questionário de Rastreio do Ambiente Familiar (QRAF), da Escala de Desenvolvimento Mental Griffiths (EDMG) e dos dados sociodemográficos dos pais e história clínica das crianças. Os resultados indicaram que, não há associações significativas entre os dados sociodemográficos e o ambiente familiar e verificou-se que apesar dos valores obtidos no QRAF indicarem maioritariamente resultados suspeitos os resultados do perfil desenvolvimental são globalmente positivos, sendo possível perspetivar a influência da frequência de estruturas pré-escolares como promotoras da aquisição de competências desenvolvimentais. | dc.description.abstract | This study intends to collaborate in a project of longitudinal follow-up to understand factors that contribute in the development of premature infants. Premature babies are at higher risk both the biological level as socially/emotionally, thus, social interaction and the quality of the home environment is even more important for a positive development. This study aimed to contribute to the knowledge of the family environment and the relationship with the developmental profile of children who were born prematurely. This study was conducted with 17 children born prematurely in a hospital in the north of the country and their respective parents. The evaluation was conducted on their third year of life through the Questionário de Rastreio do Ambiente Familiar (QRAF), the Escala de Desenvolvimento Mental de Griffiths (EDMG) and socio-demographic data of parents and medical history of children. It was found that there is no significant association between socioeconomic status and family environment and it was realized that although the values obtained in QRAF indicate mostly results suspects, the results of the developmental profile is positive overall , it is possible to foresee the influence of the frequency of pre- school facilities as promoting the acquisition of developmental skills. It was also observed that in EDMG instrument subscale B: social-person was the only associated with the QRAF results. | pt_PT |
