Abstract(s)
O presente estudo apresenta como objetivo compreender a crise relacionada com o uso de substâncias psicadélicas no feminino.
A investigação conta com 153 participantes mulheres, de diferentes idades, nacionalidades e com consumos diferenciados de substâncias psicoativas. A investigação segue uma metodologia qualitativa, uma vez que esta considera a experiência subjetiva como fonte de conhecimento e demonstra interesse em perceber como os indivíduos experienciam e interpretam o mundo social. Procedeu-se a uma análise Semi-indutiva para a recolha dos dados, e como estratégia específica, foi realizada uma análise temática, esta tem como objetivo identificar os pontos relevantes, para responder às questões específicas do estudo como recurso ao Nvivo11®. Os dados obtidos foram recolhidos através dos documentos presentes no projeto Kosmicare, no Boom Festival de 2016.
Neste estudo, foi possível perceber que o consumo é mais evidente na população feminina mais jovem, que os sintomas mais frequentes são a ansiedade, instabilidade emocional e confusão/desorientação. Os temas de crise mais presentes foram o medo, a baixa autoestima e os efeitos intensos das substâncias consumidas. Identificou-se como limitação a falta de análise dos dados do género masculino, que permitisse uma comparação de resultados.
This study aims to understand the crisis related to the use of psychedelic substances in the female population. This research has 153 women participants of different ages, nationalities and different consumption of psychoactive substances. It also follows a qualitative method, since it is considered a subjective experience as a source of knowledge and shows interest in perceiving how individuals experience and interpret the social world. In order to collect the data, it was performed a semi-inductive analysis and a specific analysis strategy. Using Nvivo11® to identify the relevant points, it was carried out a thematic analysis conductive to answer the study’s specific questions. The data obtained were collected through “Kosmicare Project” documents at Boom Festival in 2016. In this study, it was possible to distinguish that consumption is more evident in younger female population. As a matter of fact, the most frequent symptoms are anxiety, emotional instability and confusion / disorientation. Likewise, the prevailing crisis were fear, low self-esteem and the intense effects of consumed substances. Due to the lack of male gender data in this study investigation, it did not allow a comparison in the final analysis.
