| dc.description.abstract | A família é considerada no contexto do povo macua como a base de sociabilidade, auto-afirmação, e de crescimento de todos os membros que a compõe. É também considerada como lugar de transmissão de valores e de costumes culturais. Mas o povo que antes sofrera com a situação colonial e depois com as guerras civis, nunca deixou de viver a sua cultura da forma como foi herdada dos seus antepassados em matéria de saberes, relacionamento e regras de conduta. É do povo moçambicano que a dissertação fala. Fala concretamente do povo macua, debruçando-se, de um modo especial, sobre a família patriarcal. E o casamento é entendido como meio de interajuda entre os noivos e entre as famílias; como também como meio de procriação, manutenção, segurança da família. O propósito fundamental do trabalho é reflectir sobre a família patriarcal, baseando-se no estudo teológico-histórico-sócio-cultural. Assim, no que concerne ao estudo teológico, o povo macua acredita na existência de um Deus Supremo, Criador, Origem e Fim de toda a existência. O estudo histórico é alicerçado na crença de que desde os tempos remotos, o povo macua acreditou que a sua origem vem do Monte Namúli. Quanto ao estudo sociológico, consiste na convivência do povo macua com sociedades organizadas por clãs e tribos. Por último, o estudo cultural baseia-se na vida quotidiana do povo macua, onde a família alargada faz parte da familiar nuclear. Apesar do mesmo povo ter muitas ramificações, ou seja, subdivisões, tem a sua origem num ancestral comum proveniente do monte Namúli. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The family is considered in the context of the Macua people as the basis of sociability, self-affirmation, and growth of all members that compose it. It is also a place of transmission of cultural values and customs. But the people who suffered before with the colonial situation and later with the civil wars, never stopped living their culture the way it was inherited from their ancestors in terms of knowledge, relationships, and rules of conduct. It is about the Mozambican people that the dissertation speaks, specifically about the Macua people, focusing, in a special way, on the patriarchal family. Marriage is understood as a means of mutual help between the fiancés and between the families; as well as a means of procreation, maintenance, and family security. The fundamental purpose of this paper is to reflect on the patriarchal family, based on a theological-historical-socio-cultural study. As far as the theological study is concerned, the Macua people believe in the existence of a Supreme God, the Creator, Origin and End of all existence. The historical study is based on the belief that since ancient times, the Macua people have believed that their origin dates back to Mount Namuli. The sociological study consists in the co-existence of the Macua people in societies organized by clans and tribes. The cultural study is based on the daily life of the Macua people where the extended family is part of the nuclear family, despite the fact that the same people have many ramifications or subdivisions. They have their origin, though, in a common ancestor coming from Mount Namuli. | pt_PT |
