Abstract(s)
O Relatório pretende expressar o percurso realizado durante a Unidade Curricular
Estágio, pertencente ao Modulo I, do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, na área de
Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediatria, que teve como objectivo
de estágio o desenvolvimento de competências do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde
Infantil e Pediatria perante a criança/família em risco.
A autora exerce funções no Núcleo de Apoio a Crianças e Jovens em Risco (NACJR) e
é confrontada, frequentemente, com situações de risco, às quais tem que dar resposta.
Por este motivo decidiu investir a sua formação nesta área.
Os objectivos traçados e as actividades que foram sendo desenvolvidas, contribuíram
para uma reflexão ao nível profissional e pessoal, que permitirá actuar de um modo
mais estruturado e confiante no futuro.
A formação da equipa multidisciplinar sobre esta temática, a elaboração de documentos
adequados para referenciar, a uniformização de procedimentos, a sistematização dos
processos do NACJR e a da Visita Domiciliária, irão contribuir para uma melhoria da
qualidade dos cuidados prestados á criança/família, que é seguida pelo NACJR.
Ao realizar este relatório, a autora pensa ter conseguido planear e sistematizar o
percurso que desenvolveu para atingir o objectivo e as competências inerentes ao papel
do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediatria. Estas, vão contribuir para a
detecção precoce de crianças em risco, dispor de mecanismos reais de cooperação, de
modo a proporcionar segurança e efectividade no trabalho desenvolvido e levando ao
bem-estar e à melhoria da qualidade de vida destas crianças.
É muito difícil cuidar de crianças maltratadas, mas através de competências, do respeito,
do cumprimento das regras de ética e de deontologia profissional, consegue-se na
prática profissional assegurar a qualidade dos cuidados prestados, tendo sempre como
objectivo o interesse superior da criança.
A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica e a reflexão crítica e construtiva
sobre a prática. Esta metodologia requer motivação, disponibilidade, participação activa
e envolvimento pessoal.
The intent of this report is to outline the progress of the Internship Course Unit, comprised in Module I of the Master’s Degree in Nursing with specialization in the area of Paediatrics & Child Health, at is aimed towards the development of skills as Nurse Specialist in Child Health and Paediatrics dealing with children at risk conditions. The author holds positions in the Nucleus of Support for Children and Youth at Risk and frequently confronted with risky situations, which have to respond. For this reason decided to invest their training in this area. The outlined objectives and the activities that are being developed contributed to the professional and personal reflection that will act in a more structured and confident way in the future. The formation of the multidisciplinary team on this theme, the preparation of appropriate documents for referencing, the standardization of procedures, the systematization of the processes of NACJR and the Home Visit, will contribute to an improvement in the quality of care provided to the child/family, which is followed by NACJR. During the preparation of this report, it is the understanding of the author to have succeeded in the systematical development of the objective and the competencies inherent to the role of nurse specialist in child health and paediatrics. This will contribute to the early detection of children at risk conditions and to the development of real mechanisms of cooperation in order to provide safeness and effectiveness of the activities that were developed with full responsiveness of well-being and improvement of the quality of life of these children, who will certainly reap the benefits in terms of health. It is very difficult to take care of ill-treated children, but with the employment of capabilities, respect, compliance with the rules of ethics and expertise, it is possible, through professional practices, to ensure conscientiousness and also quality of the services rendered, always prioritizing the child's best interests
