Abstract(s)
O relatório de estágio tem como objetivo descrever o percurso de crescimento
pessoal e profissional durante a prática clínica. Através da articulação entre os
conhecimentos teóricos e práticos durante a realização dos estágios, a tomada de
decisões baseadas na mais recente evidência científica em conjunto com os
princípios deontológicos que regem a profissão de enfermagem, foi possível o
desenvolvimento de competências especializadas em Enfermagem MédicoCirúrgica: Pessoa em Situação Crítica.
O presente relatório está estruturado de acordo com o percurso realizado por
ordem cronológica descrevendo e analisando de forma reflexiva as atividades
desenvolvidas para a concretização dos objetivos propostos durante a prestação de
cuidados à pessoa em situação crítica nos diferentes contextos de prática clínica.
Começo por descrever as competências adquiridas durante o exercício
profissional na prestação de cuidados à pessoa vítima de queimadura numa
Unidade de Queimados de um Hospital Central de Lisboa, o que me concedeu a
creditação da unidade curricular A Pessoa em Situação Crítica e Família – Vigilância e
Decisão Clínica.
Quanto à unidade curricular Estágio Final e Relatório, realizei estágio numa
Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Polivalente e de seguida num Serviço de Urgência
Central, onde o foco de intervenção foi contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade dos
cuidados de enfermagem prestados à pessoa em situação crítica e sua família no
âmbito do controlo da dor.
Os objetivos definidos centraram-se na aquisição e no desenvolvimento de
competências na prestação de cuidados de enfermagem especializados nos
diferentes contextos. As atividades desenvolvidas, de forma a alcançar esses
objetivos centraram-se na sensibilização dos profissionais das equipas que integrei,
relativamente ao controlo da dor.
Assumo no final deste percurso ter desenvolvido competências como
enfermeira especialista no cuidar da pessoa em situação crítica de forma a dar
continuidade ao meu desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional, promovendo a
excelência do exercício de enfermagem.
The present report aims to describe the path of personal and professional growth during clinical practice. Through the articulation between theoretical and practical knowledge during the internship, decision-making based on the most recent scientific evidence together with the deontological principles that govern the nursing profession, it was possible to develop specialized skills in Medical-Surgical Nursing: Person in Critical Situation. This report’s structure is based on the path taken in chronological order, describing and analyzing in a reflexive way the activities developed to achieve the objectives proposed during the provision of care to the patient in critical situation in different contexts of clinical practice. I begin this report describing the skills acquired during the professional practice by providing care to the burn victim in a Burn Unit of a Central Hospital in Lisbon, which granted me the accreditation of the curricular unit A Pessoa em Situação Crítica e Família – Vigilância e Decisão Clínica. Regarding the curricular unit Estágio Final e Relatório, I did an internship in an Intensive Care Unit and then in an Emergency Service, where the focus of intervention was to contribute to improving the quality of nursing care provided to the patient in critical situation and his family within the scope of pain control. The defined objectives focused on the acquisition and development of skills in the provision of specialized nursing care in different contexts. The activities developed in order to achieve these objectives were centered on sensitizing the professionals of the teams that I was part of, regarding pain control. At the end of this journey, I assume that I have developed skills as a specialized nurse in caring for the patient in critical situation in order to continue my personal and professional development, promoting excellence in nursing practice.
