Abstract(s)
This report was developed in the community context, describing the course of the work developed in the stage and to which was underlying the acquisition of competences inherent to nurse specialist in community nursing. It intends to demonstrate the application of the methodology of health planning, in a community context, focusing attention on the care of a population with specific needs, travelers. To better understand the key concepts and dimension of the phenomenon, a conceptual, epidemiological, political and social framework has been developed A situation diagnosis was made in which institutional needs emerged, expressed by the expert nurses and in line with national and international recommendations. Nursing care in the promotion of traveler's health was selected as the focus of intervention. It is intended that individual and collective health be protected through the implementation of care directed to travelers by nurses in primary health care The Nola Pender Health Promotion Model was used as a theoretical reference, as a promoter of behavior change through positive incentives. The adaptability of the model allowed adjusting the CIPE language, in an important approximation of the practice with the theory. All phases of the project were developed in a public health unit. The situation diagnosis was made using the qualitative methodology and the use of the content analysis technique according to Bardin (2014). Based on the results, intervention priorities were prioritized. The intervention project was created "No matter the destination is the starting point- community nursing intervention." The remaining phases were elaborated according to these assumptions, always having as main theoretical reference Imperatori and Giraldes (1993). The project was based on a logic of promoting community health as an intervention strategy with health gains. This project allowed the development of skills as a master and specialist in community nursing in a multifactorial view of the main health problems of the community. It provided tools for the development of future community empowerment projects, epidemiological surveillance, health process management, and research practices.
