Abstract(s)
It seems obvious to indicate the importance of St. Francis in Franciscan School thought. Moreover when we talk about the Franciscan theologian and philosopher's Augustinian readings, usually we establish a dichotomy between Aristotelianism and Augustinianism. Often we forgot the figure of St. Francis of Assisi. In this paper we want to point out the saint-Franciscan influence in Augustinianism interpretation of nature in order to complement the bonaventurian reading of Aristotle.
