| dc.description.abstract | A administração e gestão das creches, jardins de infância, infantários e préescolares, é um vetor fundamental no desenvolvimento de cada estabelecimento de educação. Assim, é importante entender como na Região Autónoma da Madeira (RAM) têm sido as práticas legais e como os diversos atores educativos, com ou sem responsabilidades institucionais, interagem com tal configuração. A análise reflexiva aqui exposta enquadra-se na temática da gestão e da liderança que visa retratar uma situação específica, a influência da liderança na motivação docente e não docente, num jardim de infância no concelho do Funchal, Região Autónoma da Madeira. Este trabalho de análise tem como desígnio básico refletir, através de trabalho “em campo”, as funções de um gestor/diretor escolar num estabelecimento de educação da RAM e procurar compreender se existe relação entre a liderança exercida e a motivação da comunidade educativa. Sendo assim, o tema central desta análise consiste em refletir sobre a influência da atuação do gestor escolar, de um jardim de infância da RAM, na motivação dos seus profissionais. Pretende-se, também, compreender o estilo de liderança usado, de que forma foram tomadas as decisões e em que medida estas exerceram influência na motivação dos liderados (educadores de infância, assistentes operacionais e pessoal auxiliar), dentro da organização escolar. O enquadramento teórico foi orientado em duas partes, subdivididas por capítulos: a primeira parte passa por uma breve abordagem pelas teorias da administração, pelos modelos organizacionais, liderança, teorias e estilos dos órgãos de gestão e, em último, o papel, competências e funções de um gestor escolar e consequente desenvolvimento da educação pré-escolar na RAM. A segunda parte aborda o conceito de jardim de infância e a análise reflexiva sobre a minha atividade profissional, como diretora pedagógica, de um jardim de infância da RAM. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The administration and management of kindergartens and preschools is a key vector in the development of each educational establishment. Thus, it is important to understand how in the Região Autómoma da Madeira (RAM) have been the legal practices and how the various educational actors, with or without institutional responsibilities, interact with such configuration. The reflective analysis presented here is framed in the management and leadership theme that aims to portray a specific situation, the influence of leadership in teacher motivation, and not teaching, in a kindergarten in the municipality of Funchal, Região Autónoma da Madeira. This work of analysis has as basic aim to reflect, through work "in field", the functions of a school manager / director in a school of the RAM and to try to understand if there is a relation between the leadership exercised and the motivation of the educative community. Thus, the central theme of this analysis is to reflect on the influence of the performance of the school manager, a RAM kindergarten, on the motivation of their professionals. It is also intended to understand the style of leadership used, how decisions were made and to what extent they exerted influence on the motivation of the leaders (kindergarten teachers, operational assistants and auxiliary staff) within the school organization. The theoretical framework was oriented into two parts, subdivided by chapters: the first part goes through a brief approach by the theories of administration, organizational models, leadership, theories and styles of management bodies and, finally, the role, competencies and functions of a school manager and consequent development of preschool education in AMR. The second part addresses the concept of kindergarten and the reflexive analysis about my professional activity, as pedagogical director, of a kindergarten in RAM. | pt_PT |
