Abstract(s)
Este relatório surge no âmbito da obtenção do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem
com Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica após a realização de
estágio no Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica, no Serviço e Urgência e na
Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Polivalentes do Centro Hospitalar de Vila Nova
de Gaia/Espinho, EPE, e traduz o desenvolvimento, a aquisição e a integração de
conhecimentos para a prestação de cuidados especializados na área de
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica à pessoa adulta e idosa com doença grave ou em
estado crítico.
Está estruturado em quatro Domínios de Competências, utilizando o método
descritivo e analítico, através da análise crítica de situações concretas,
fundamentada na evidência científica, com sugestões de melhoria e de resolução
dos problemas identificados.
No Domínio de uma Prática Profissional, Ética e Legal destacam-se as reflexões
críticas decorrentes de situações concretas, nomeadamente sobre o respeito pelo
sigilo profissional, o consentimento informado e consentimento presumido, o
respeito pela privacidade e a decisão de não reanimar.
No Domínio da Melhoria Contínua da Qualidade, salienta-se a identificação das
oportunidades de melhoria e as estratégias sugeridas, no âmbito do controlo de
infeção e da melhoria dos registos de enfermagem.
No Domínio da Gestão de Cuidados, realça-se a participação em todos os
processos de gestão dos vários locais de estágio refletindo sobre a sua
exequibilidade e adequação às características do serviço.
No Domínio do Desenvolvimento de Aprendizagens Profissionais, a capacidade
de análise de situações complexas e reflexão sobre situações concretas com
fundamentação adequada é uma competência essencial do Especialista em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, pelo que foi desenvolvida a capacidade de reagir
a situações imprevistas e complexas, assim como o próprio processo de auto
desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional e competências na área da comunicação,
no relacionamento com o doente e com a família.
Os estágios, além de permitirem o contacto com situações de urgência e
emergência, são momentos privilegiados de contacto com novas realidades,
aprofundamento da consciência crítica e desenvolvimento de competências
refletindo-se no desempenho da Enfermagem como especialista.
Com a elaboração deste relatório, pretende-se refletir criticamente sobre as
principais atividades e competências adquiridas, recorrendo à fundamentação
científica. Também se pretende relatar dificuldades sentidas e apresentar, de
forma crítica, a contribuição deste estágio para o desenvolvimento e
aperfeiçoamento profissional.
This report comes in the context of the degree of Master of Nursing with specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing after the stage of completion at the National Institute of Medical Emergency Service and the Emergency and Multipurpose Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital of Vila Nova de Gaia / Espinho, EPE, and translates the development, acquisition and integration of knowledge to provide specialized care in the Medical-Surgical Nursing area to adult and elderly with severe disease or in critical condition. Is structured in four Competency Domains using the descriptive and analytical method, through critical analysis of concrete situations, based on scientific evidence, with suggestions for improvement and resolution of identified problems. In the Domain of Professional Practice, Ethical and Legal stand out criticism arising from concrete situations reflections, particularly on respect for professional secrecy, informed consent and presumed consent, respect for privacy and the decision not to resuscitate. The Quality of Continuous Improvement Area, highlight the identification of opportunities for improvement and the suggested strategies within the infection control and improvement of nursing records. In the Care Management Domain, highlights the participation in all management processes of the various stage of local reflecting on their feasibility and suitability to the characteristics of the service. Development in the Domain of Learning Professionals, the ability to analyze complex situations and reflect on concrete situations with adequate reasoning is an essential responsibility of the Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing, which was developed by the ability to react to unexpected and complex situations, and as the very process of self personal and professional development and skills in communication, in relationship with the patient and family. Internships and would permit contact with urgent and emergency situations, are privileged moments of contact with new realities, deepening critical awareness and skills development reflecting on the performance of Nursing as an expert. With this report, we intend to critically reflect on the main activities and acquired skills, using the scientific reasons. Also intends to report difficulties felt and present, critically, the contribution of this stage for the development and professional development.
