No
Tempos Livres (ATL). As dinâmicas levadas a cabo durante o estágio contemplaram
Numa terceira etapa, apresentaremos a planificação,
The following internship report is for the 2nd year of the 2nd cycle of the MA in Psychology, with a specialization in clinical psychology and health in the faculty of philosophy, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Catholic University of Portugal), Braga. It presents the result of an internship which took place in the Centro Social of Durrães between March 2012 and March 2013. The internship attempted to apply different theoretical approaches to psychological practice and promote the learning of good practice as a way to develop adequate and autonomous professional skills in a clinical context made up of a juvenile and elderly population. The activities promoted were directed primarily towards users of the day center (the elderly) and the children integrated in the program of “free time activities” (Atividades de Tempos Livres). The activities carried out during the internship were made up of various assesment activities, both group and individual, as well as training activities. Initially, we characterized the organizational or institutional context and the respective psychological services, making a summary of the institution and its objectives and goals, organizational structures, the role of the psychologist and the actions undertaken along with the target populations of the institution. Next we made a description of the cases and consultations observed during the internship in which we did not participate directly. Following this the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the training activities for group interventions are presented. Finally, we conclude with a personal reflection on the impact the internship will have on me as a future psychological professional.
