O presente Trabalho investiga os segredos, os esquemas de composição, os meandros das obras de artistas (entre os clássicos e renomados e outros que passaram inauditos para a maioria, sobre os quais pouco se estudou da forma merecida) que forneceram às imagens de filmes grande contribuição em forma de imaginação musical; as técnicas e de que forma o conhecimento musical fornece substância que os auxiliarão na composição das trilhas, e tentar perceber o que disso pode se enquadrar no trabalho de um designer. Na pesquisa por meio da História da música, do cinema e do trabalho desses artistas, o objetivo é compreender e identificar as definições apontadas pelas mais diversas referências que refletem sobre a composição musical e o design nas suas mais diversas dimensões, e contrapô-las com os múltiplos depoimentos de compositores que na prática se confrontam com a composição e produção musical para cinema.
The present Work investigates the secrets, the composition schemes, the intricacies of the works of artists (among the classic and renowned and others that have gone unheard of by most people, and about whom little has been studied in the way they would deserve) that have provided to the images of films great contribution in the form of musical imagination; the techniques and the manner in which the musical knowledge generates matter that will aid them in the composition of soundtracks, and try to understand what can fit into the work of a designer. In my research of the history of music, cinema and the work of these artists, the objective is to understand and identify the definitions pointed out by the most diverse references that reflect upon musical composition and design in its most diverse dimensions, and contrast them with the multiple testimonies of composers who in practice are confronted with musical composition and production for cinema.
