Resumo(s)
Partindo de uma metodologia de investigação qualitativa, o presente
estudo foca o trabalho colaborativo entre docentes do 1º ciclo, numa escola do
Porto.
Neste estudo, as técnicas utilizadas para recolha de dados foram a
observação, o inquérito por questionário e a análise documental, sendo que os
dados recolhidos foram triangulados, numa última fase, de forma a obtermos
uma visão holística do objeto do estudo.
A revisão de literatura efetuada aponta para a importância vital do trabalho
colaborativo entre docentes enquanto ferramenta de desenvolvimento
profissional e organizacional. No entanto, em termos práticos, parecem existir
inúmeras barreiras a este modo de trabalho docente.
O estudo realizado mostra que os docentes em questão reconhecem a
importância do trabalho colaborativo e disponibilizam-se para o mesmo, mas
consideram-no pouco provável, em termos práticos, essencialmente devido à
predominância de culturas profissionais eminentemente individualistas.
Based on a qualitative investigation methodology, this study is focused on collaborative work between primary teachers in a school in Oporto. In our study all the data went through observation, questionnaire enquiries and documental analysis techniques so as to obtain an holistic view of the subject studied. The literature revision done points out the huge importance of collaborative work between teachers as a professional and organizational development tool. However, in practice, there seem to be countless obstacles to this type of teaching. This study shows that these teachers acknowledge the importance of collaborative work and are available to work on it although they also consider it as improbable to use mainly due to the individualistic tendency of teaching.
