Abstract(s)
O presente estudo pretende analisar numa visão geral a compatibilidade entre a Blockchain e o Regulamento Geral da Proteção de Dados, atendendo à regulação da proteção de dados e às características da referida tecnologia. O objetivo do nosso estudo é procurar fornecer uma primeira abordagem à tecnologia Blockchain, como a mesma funciona e quais as suas implicações nos requisitos do Regulamento Geral da Proteção de Dados.
Concomitantemente, tentaremos apresentar alguns exemplos práticos de situações em que se compatibiliza à aplicação da tecnologia Blockchain aos princípios e normas do Regulamento Geral da Proteção de Dados.
This report aims to analyze in a general vision the compatibility between Blockchain and The General Data Protection Regulation, taking into account the data protection regulation and the characteristics of the Blockchain technology. The purpose of our study is to provide a first approach of the referred technology and how it works and what are its implications for the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. Concomitantly, we also present some practical examples of situations where the application of Blockchain technology is compatible with the principles and rules of the General Data Protection Regulation.
