Abstract(s)
A inscrição de obras e intervenções artísticas contemporâneas em espaços públicos, em circuitos urbanos e em paisagens, problematiza a relação da arte com o lugar. Este artigo aborda, de forma sumária, a prática artística em que aquela relação se configura através do caminho, literal ou metafórico, explícito ou implícito. Esta ideia será também tratada nos modelos museológicos contemporâneos que, dispostos no território, requerem a abertura de caminhos. Finalmente, apre- senta-se uma breve nota, esta metafórica, sobre o modo como o caminho pode ser entendido na confluência disciplinar e epistemológica do nosso tempo. Nas três situações é de uma paisagem reconstruída que estamos a falar.
Contemporary art works and interventions installed in public spaces, in urban circuits and in landscapes, problematize the relation between art and place. This paper addresses artistic practice dealing with that relation, through the idea of path, either explicit or implicit, either literal or symbolic. The same idea is examined in relation to the engagement of museological models in the landscape where trails are required. Finally, the path will be understood in a metaphorical sense, at the crossroads of disciplinary fields and new epistemological perspectives. In these three contexts, it is of a reconstructed landscape we are talking about.
