dc.description.abstractA Reading of the history of salvation reveals us God’s constant communication with humanity, calling men and women to be bearers of His Word. Responding to this vocation, all humanity is invited to welcome His Spirit and allow themselves to be guided by Him. This present dissertation seeks to study the pericope of Acts 8, 26-40 from the perspective of his prophetic relevance in this narrative. To serve this purpose, in the first chapter, we offer the interpretative keys, based on the biblical dimensions of prophecy in Luke texts and in the Old Testament. The second part is dedicated to an exegetical and typological analysis of the text. For last, this encounter, truly synodal, inspires the Church to be prophetic: a Church that listens the callings of the world, discerns the signs of times, promotes the conversion and that sets on mission. In such of a tumultuous world and full of challenges, all Christians are called to rediscover the prophetic part of the Church, assuming, with courange and discernment, the commitment to proclaim the Gospel to everyone single one.eng
dc.description.abstractUma leitura da história da salvação revela-nos a constante comunicação de Deus com a humanidade, chamando homens e mulheres a serem portadores da sua Palavra. Perante esta vocação, os homens são convidados a acolher o Espírito e a deixar-se guiar por Ele. A presente dissertação procura estudar a perícope de At 8,26-40, na perspetiva da relevância profética neste relato. Para tal, no primeiro capítulo, oferecemos as chaves de leitura, a partir das dimensões bíblicas do profetismo na obra lucana e no Antigo Testamento. A segunda parte dedica-se ao ensaio exegético e tipológico da perícope. Por último, este encontro, verdadeiramente sinodal, inspira a Igreja a ser profética: uma Igreja que escuta os apelos do mundo, discerne os sinais dos tempos, promove a conversão e parte em missão. Num tempo conturbado e cheio de desafios, os cristãos são chamados a redescobrir o papel profético da Igreja, assumindo, com coragem e discernimento, o compromisso de anunciar o Evangelho a «todos, todos, todos».por
